Safe Places

As part of Kia Kaha, we have been talking about the places in school that we feel safe to play. The children in Room 5 were set a group challenge of recording a video on the iPad of themselves in both a safe and unsafe place to play within the school. They made some great videos, here are the results.

Making Statements

We have been developing our statistical literacy. On Friday, we conducted an investigation on the different colour of smarties in a fun size packet. We had to tally our results and use this information to create a bar graph. We then had to discuss our findings and make statements.
